- strategies for managing negative or unhealthy thinking
- behavioral activation and goal setting
- Cognitive Boot Camp, Fridays from 9:30 AM – 11:30AM

- Focuses on
- improving attention
- memory strategies
- decision making/problem solving skills
- fluency/communication techniques
- MS 101, Fridays from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Facilitated by Samantha Burns Artherholt, PhD and other MS Center providers

- Focuses on
- overview of MS, including local and national resources
- information on work, medical leave, and disability
- coping with uncertainty
- lifestyle recommendations, including nutrition and activity
- MS Symptom Management, Fridays from 2:30 – 4:30 PM
- Starts November 17
- Focuses on
- managing fatigue, energy, stress, and pain
- strategies to improve quality and quantity of sleep
session information
Workshops meet once a week for 4 weeks. Each meeting is 90-120 minutes long. Sessions are billed to your insurance (as group health and behavior interventions, billing codes 96164/96165) through UW Medicine.
